a toast to you all

I love my friends. they truly are some of the greatest people in the world and I love that they each are unique in their own ways and each have beautiful personalties. They have always been there for me when things didn't seem to work out so well and sometimes they didn't have to hear the same story over and over again, but they did. I love that they all have a sense of humor and that even though were all a little weird and sometimes have differences we somehow end every night with a good laugh. Thank you buddies for always laughing and being who you are.

too many crime scenes for one small city

All these crime scenes that I passed by tonight seemed out of a movie and though I never walked up to one and actually saw what had occurred, the fact was that someone's life may have ended at each and everyone of them. The police and the ambulances didn't seem to be in a hurry to fix what was broken, maybe they had just given up. Sometimes life resembles movies too much and I wish it didn't. I wish one had nothing to do with the other but sadly the over dramatized films have too much in common with the reality we walk through each day.
